If you’re an NVIDIA video card user, then this might be your solution.
So, it is my 2nd project after a long break and it took it 5 days to get the 1st sale, even that it’s a quality work. It even got a “Trending Item” mark.
Anyways, I don’t know what could be the reasons, but I’ve realized 3 things:
- People wanna get AE project templates for their photos, videos and messages. Apparently, in most cases it is about something they took with their phones. So, the templates have to be about showing that and helping to show that. From average people to average people.
- It gets harder to get exposure for the new ones. This might be helped by collaborating with big daddies and bringing something really useful and fresh, probably.
- You have to have constant updates.
Yet, my plan is to stick to some more trailer projects. And then will see.
So, I’m kinda back and I’ve decided to start from a little rebranding.
By now I’ve updated some stuff on my VH profile page and made this little intro.
PS. Changed my mind a little bit about the final look of the identity video. And probably there’s gonna be more, because all those flares get “dirty” after different compression methods on different sites, including the Videohive.
This trick is used to get rid of undesired squares (usually) on the edges and sometimes on the object surface (because of high compression etc).

FULL HD = 1920×1080
HDV = 1280×720
DV NTSC Widescreen = 720×480
DV PAL Widescreen = 720×576
HD = 960×540
These 2 simple rules you really don’t want to ignore, unless you don’t care about your sales on Videohive.
I ran through tons of Apple and AE forum threads, searching for the solution. Ones said that it has something to do with CS5.5, others said that there’s a problem with the latest quicktime update version.
